We can also advise you on the transport of dangerous goods by sea (IMDG) and air (ICAO and IATA). These modes are not currently covered by the scope of the duties of the DGSA as set out in ADR and the CDG Regulations, but must be taken account of when exporting any dangerous goods.

We can also let you know if you actually need to appoint a Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA) or if you can use the many exemptions and derogations available in the transport regulations. In these circumstances you may still require a DGSA from time to time to ensure you are compliant with current legislation and are controlling the risk when handling dangerous goods.
